Top 50 Motivational Rankings for 3/12/22-3/18/22

More notes before we start:

1. Style points count. You’ll see that down the list.
2. Just a reminder, I’m a ‘What have you done for me lately’ guy, so a team that did great last year but is bowling like dishwater now is not going to be on this list.
3. If you’re not in a play-off spot in your district. You’re not making the list.
4. While #1 is Tour Stop Play, Team Rankings / WCS / Tournament Results DO count here, because if they do well and a team uses these people in a UBA Tour Stop, then there’s no reason why not to think they will be just as good at a tour stop as they are in a tournament, etc.
5. Keep in mind that with over 200 teams competing this season, this list represents less than the top 25% of the UBA. If you’re on here, consider that some kudos.

1. Spartanberg Savages (195-85 / 1st) (Was 2)
   I did Say Spartanberg would take first if 1. They won their 2 WCS matches (they did) and 2. Hitmen’s Bob Benton didn’t win the World Title (he didn’t). The fact that they took the 430 Mixed Caps Doubles also didn’t hurt.
2. Hitmen (234-46 / 1st) (Was 1)
   That being said, the Hitmen did win Franchise Triples and a piece of Unholy. So they are riiiiight behind.
3. High Octane (226-54 / 1st) (Was 4)
   They took a piece of the 430 capped doubles, so they slide up a spot.
4. Outrage (250-70 / 1st) (Was 3)
   They showed up at Megabowl, which you can’t say for a lot of teams. They are up by 56 over second place in their division
5. G.O.A.T. (183-97 / 1st) (Was 8)
   2 Megabowl Wins and JoshPittman is still the heavyweight champion.
6. AC Express (233-87 / 1st) (Was 5)
   Mia Williams loses a tough match to Kasey Parnell, but Williams still has the title.
7. DC Mafia (221-56 / 1st) (Was 6)
   Can get back up starting this weekend.
8. Da Garden Foundation (202-118 / 2nd) (Was 7)
   Didn’t see much gardening.
9. Reality Check (200-40 / 1st) (Was 10)
   The reality is that they didn’t check in.
10. Sub-Zero (146-94 / 3rd) (Was 16)
    Sub-Zero wins 2 events at Megabowl and comes in the Top 5 in a handful of others. See? I pay attention to these things. Whether they stay up here will be based on what they do this weekend.
11. All In! (189-91 / 1st) (Was 12)
    They travelled to Megabowl, so Im giving them some credit for that.
12. BC Crew (224-136 / 1st) (Was 17)
    BC Crew did show up to Megabowl, so I’ll reward them for that.
13. Lightz Out (236-84 / 1st) (Was 10)
    No Lightz At Megabowl
14. Royal Flush (196-84 / 2nd) (Was 11)
    They love to travel, but I guess not to Virginia
15. Impact (196-82 / 2nd) (Was 13)
    No Impact at Megabowl
16. Class Axe (208-72 / 1st) (Was 14)
    Taking extra credit classes this weekend.
17. Motion 2 Strike (196-84 / 2nd) (Was 24)
    They won a Megabowl event. That moves you up.
18. Rollin’ Rebels (170-110 / 2nd) (Was 31)
    McKnight won his Welterweight match. When do the Rebels start using him?
19. The Arsenal (204-76 / 2nd) (Was 15)
    Any Arsenal members taking a 7 hour trip to Virginia? Nope.

    Conspiracy on why they did nothing at Megabowl.

    At least they showed up.

    I make fun of them for not even going to a part of their own state. There’s ZERO chance you would have seen them at Megabowl.

    There was a chance here, but no.
37. Philly Horsemen (178-102 / 3rd) (was 35)
    Wild horses won’t take them away to Megabowl
38. Do it Yourself (174-146 / 3rd) (Was 36)
    The most unstable 37th placed team ever.

    They didn’t lose, so that’s something.
40. Rival Alliance (196-124 / 1st) (Was 39)
    Usual Suspects gave notice. You better respond.

    Huge match coming up this weekend.
42. Str8 Bizness Cartel (168-112 / 3rd) (Was 42)
    Can they do anything against DC Mafia?

    Remember when I said that they would move up with a good showing last weekend? Didn’t happen.

    Tom and Erika Twist showing up to run things does not count for Legacy showing up to represent at Megabowl.
45. Voodoo (184-136 / 2nd) (Was 45)
    Sleeping potion.

    This weekend will see if they can get out of opening act status.

    We heard from a lot of QC teams. but not them.

    Also surprised that I didn’t see them do better.

    Once Megabowl is done, the Team will be more focused. Right? Right.

    Can they take first back in the NE North?

    Just a reminder that you don’t get ranked in the Top 50 if you’re not in the Top 4 in your district. I know KG will get back in, but they stay here as a reminder.
