Monster Week for the Hitmen

More notes before we start:

  1. Style points count. You’ll see that down the list.
  2. Just a reminder, I’m a ‘What have you done for me lately’ guy, so a team that did great last year but is bowling like dishwater now is not going to be on this list.
  3. If you’re not in a play-off spot in your district. You’re not making the list.
  4. While #1 is Tour Stop Play, Team Rankings / WCS / Tournament Results DO count here, because if they do well and a team uses these people in a UBA Tour Stop, then there’s no reason why not to think they will be just as good at a tour stop as they are in a tournament, etc.
  5. Keep in mind that with over 200 teams competing this season, this list represents less than the top 25% of the UBA. If you’re on here, consider that some kudos.
  6. This is for fun. Don’t get salty, get motivated.
  7. I love all feedback, so keep it coming 🙂

So here we go with this week’s rankings….

CURRENT PLAY NOTE: All Matches from the past 2 weeks, Southeast Draft (both of them) results, WCS Southeast results and the Team Ranking matches will be included in this list.

  1. Hitmen (164-36 / 1st) (Was 3)
A huge Southeast Draft plus Bob Benton winning the Southeast Heavyweight title gets them this top spot.
  2. BC Crew (194-86 / 1st) (Was 2)
Can they do anything at Unholy for them to get their spot back?
  3. The Arsenal (194-46 / 1st) (Was 4)
Probably would have moved them up more if they didn’t look vulnerable at their Tour Stop, but they do keep on winning, and that’s the game plan.
  4. G.O.A.T. (135-65 / 1st) (Was 5)
They need to do better in Team Rankings.
  5. The Replacements (194-46 / 1st) (Was 7)
    Dog noises at Unholy?
  6. Impact (156-44 / 2nd) (Was 9)
Went 2-0 in Team Rankings Play, so they move up a little. Little things mean a lot.
  7. Outrage (174-66 / 1st) (Was 8)
They did win, so they move up. But. they go 0-1 in Team Rankings play, so they get jumped.
  8. Spartanberg Savages (133-67 / 1st) (Was 11)
A Savage was part of the winning team at the SE draft, Kasey Parnell won her Vixen’s title match and they ‘could’ have possession of a few WCS belts come Mega Bowl.
  9. New England Heat (224-56 / 1st) (Was 14)
They are here until we don’t see them at Unholy Alliance. Then they fall out.
  10. High Octane (156-44 / 1st) (Was 8)
They did do some good in WCS land, so they stay in the Top 10.
  11. All In! (189-91 / 1st) (Was 18)
    Huge win against the Horsemen.
  12. Sub-Zero (122-78 / T2nd) (Was 12)
Not the showing at the Draft that they wanted.
  13. DC Mafia (157-43 / 1st) (Was 23)
Could they be the new power in the DMV South? Looks like it.
  14. Conspiracy Theory (162-38 / 1st) (Was 13)
Just hanging out until Team Play resumes
  15. Da Garden Foundation (154-86 / 2nd) (Was 27)
If they keep doing what they did against Murder Inc., they won’t be in second for long.
  16. Murder Inc. (181-59 / 1st) (Was 1)
Style points count for losing as well as winning. And when a team gets thumped 36-4, you have to wonder how long they will hold on to first.
  17. AC Express (169-71 / 1st) (Was 15)
Did bounce back with a Team Ranking win.
  18. NJ Drillers (151-89 / 2nd) (Was 20)
But look who’s right behind them.
  19. Usual Suspects (160-40 / 1st) (Was 29)
Big win in the PA South gives them a big cushion in their district. See? I’m nice when you do things like win! Now what can you do at Unholy?
  20. Class Axe (178-62 / 2nd) (Was 28)
Don’t call it a rivalry. They hate it when you call it a rivalry.
  21. Royal Flush (156-84 / 2nd) (Was 17)
Can they go 3 in a row on the events?
  22. Tribe Called Nest (142-58 / 1st) (Was 12)
Yeah they’re in first, but is it because they have some early season collateral to weather the skid or is it because no one else in their district is that good?
  23. Motion 2 Strike (150-50 / 1st) (Was 22)
They get to play this weekend. Maybe.
  24. Lightz Out (162-78 / T1st) (Was 46)
Very nice win in the crazy BQE puts them in first. For now.
  25. Killerz Grip (148-92 / 4th) (Was 24)
We’ll see what they do this weekend.
  26. Synergy (129-71 / 2nd) (Was 25)
    Hanging out until this weekend.
  27. Pocket Kingz (138-102 / 3rd) (Was 32)
They get a much needed win. What’s going to happen at Unholy?
  28. Bounty Hunters (162-78 / T1st) (NEW)
Just admit it. You never thought they’d make this list. If you said they would then you’re lying to yourself.
  29. Hot Pockets (130-70 / 3rd) (Was 38)
A win is a win. Albeit close.
  30. Voodoo (166-74 / 3rd) (NEW)
Welcome back to the list. You should have gotten the 40 piece though.
  31. Long Island Legends (154-86 / 3rd) (Was 30)
    Didn’t win, but didn’t lose. Guess that’s a push.
  32. The Franchise (155-85 / 3rd) (Was 45)
The win gets them off the schneid. Maybe.
  33. Silent Killerz (144-56 / 3rd) (Was 19)
I’ll give them some love if Hermie Hannibal wins the Vixen’s title this weekend.
  34. Philly Horsemen (148-92 / 3rd) (was 21)
They shot well. Just not well enough.
  35. Latino All-Stars (162-78 / 3rd) (Was 27)
They could bounce back with a Tag Team title win this weekend.
  36. Rollin’ Rebels (128-72 / 3rd) (Was 40)
They did some damage in the WCS, so they move up.
  37. Dream Team (122-78 / 4th) (Was 49)
They got the win. They can’t afford to keep doing those subpar bowling efforts and expect to keep winning.
  38. The Fallout (166-74 / 2nd) (Was 50)
I’ll give the NE South some love. It is getting to be Valentine’s Day Weekend, after all.
  39. Team Matrix (148-92 / 2nd) (Was 34)
Someone took too many red pills. Maybe they will get it out of their system at Unholy Alliance.
  40. Identity Crisis (136-104 / 1st) (Was 41)
Still dead first placed team walking.
  41. New World Order (122-78 / T2nd) (Was 36)
Now we go to the Southeast Teams…
  42. Menace II Society (140-60 / 2nd) (Was 37)
    Who didn’t get any play…
  43. Reality Check (128-32 / 2nd) (Was 38)
    Because of the snow monster…
  44. #Violators (132-68 / 2nd) (Was 49)
But they have no excuse coming up this weekend.
  45. Da Hit Squad (130-70 / 3rd) (Was 31)
Bring Alex Prell back into your lineup.
  46. Auburn Maulers (123-77 / 2nd) (Was 42)
I’m begging for ANY New England Team to show up at Unholy
  47. Absolute Chaos (140-60 / 4th) (Was 43)
    Absolute Ennui. ZZZzzzz
  48. Bulletproof (146-94 / 3rd) (Was 32)
Will they show up at Unholy?
  49. Str8 Bizness Cartel (130-70 / 2nd) (Was 44)
Somehow they are still in second because of the lack of wins from the teams chasing them.
  50. Apocalypse (102-58 / 3rd) (Was 48)
Barely hanging on. But still hanging on..

OUT: (For now) Boardwalk Empire / Powerhouse
