Impact Defeats Body Bagz 28-12

The DMV had a fun little exhibition match on Thursday night which showcased the talent of two solid DMV teams. But someone needed to remind the Body Bagz’s second handicap team that the first game actually counts in the match. No one did, and it proved costly; Impact won that game by 103, raced out to a 172 pin lead and didn’t look back, They wind up winning the match, defeating Body Bagz 28-12.

Trent Coleman (732) Tree McClaney (724), Dominick Snyder (695) Stephanie Gill (660) Kirby Crawford (659), Scott Rehm (640) and Dan Schaden (626) all shot 6’s or better, while Pooh Taylor (219/212) and John Schroder (245) contributed for Impact.

On Body Bagz’ side, you could have called them Team Welbon, because family members Andre (713), Jonathan (707) and Adrian (667) all represented. Ron Gordon (638) and Kevin Coleman (625) add to the scoring for Body Bagz. The problem for them is that everyone else not mentioned shoots a combined 413 pins under average as the second handicap squad gets steamrolled by 280 pins. Being that Body Bagz lost the wood (and the match) by 247 pins…well….that would be the main reason why.

So congratulations to Impact for the victory. Will we get a rematch? Will other teams step up? If any more matches happen, we’ll be here to cover it.
