Match #1 – LI Legends – 38, Bowling Bullies – 2

Last season, the Bowling Bullies was one of the biggest rookie successes, as they won their district.  The new rookies, on the block, were possibly looking to take a page out of that book, and boy did they make a statement.

38-2??

If you look at the glass as half-full, you could pin the win on Ryan Dimaggio’s 701, Jonathan McCord’s 679 and  Michael Adamo’s 652.

Or….

You could also say the Bullies shot a ridiculously putrid 895 PINS UNDER AVERAGE (how is that even possible?)  with only Ronnie Lofton Jr’s 243 giving the scratch team the last game by 11 pins and preventing the donut.

The Legends take the early lead in the district while the Bullies may need to hire Matt Dillon and the Cobra Kai Martial Arts group to rehabilitate that Bully image because…yuck.
