DMV Season Tour Stop #10 Preview

Good Afternoon All,

Just getting us all back into the UBA swing of things, we have a crucial Interconference Position Round for the DMV North and DMV Central, along with a pivotal Tour Stop #10 for the DMV South coming up this weekend. Come by and check myself and Michael Poodieboodie Shaw out at Perry Hall this Saturday. I promise it will be a good time. There may be some games, fun giveaways, lists, or other surprises to discuss and hash out.

I know it has been awhile, but here is a refresher:

My current prediction stats on this season is 102 out of 176 for 58% (including rankings) on the year. My predictions were as follows:

DMV North/DMV Central – Interconference Position Round

Perry Hall on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 1PM

Match 1: #1 Outrage vs. #1 Impact: With Perry Hall being Outrage’s home house and them having a score to settle with Impact, this has all the makings of a powerhouse match up. Outrage has all the pressure on them as they want to establish their dominance in the DMV and Impact has been a pesky thorn in their side. Impact cannot risk a loss and wants to keep the upper hand in this budding rivalry. This will be a high scoring and highly contested affair. Ultimately, I believe Outrage will take this one, 24 to 16.

Match 2: #2 Apex Predators vs. #2 N.W.O. Wolfpack: Two storied DMV franchises finally get to meet again in a match that has weight. Apex is coming off a bad loss to the Stoners and N.W.O. made short work of Most Wanted in their last stop. The Pack is about to get a lot better and may finally debut a new acquisition. Apex can make things happen at Perry Hall, but they may be a tad bit outmatched in this one. I believe N.W.O. wins 26 to 14.

Match 3: #3 Mutiny vs. #3 Hot Pockets: Well, Mutiny suffers a bad loss in their last stop and Hot Pockets secures another nice win. This is a rematch of the previous Interconference match up and Hot Pockets really wants to get even. However, Mutiny loves Perry Hall and I think this one has the makings of a good Mutiny victory, 24 to 16.

Match 4: #4 Da Stoners vs. #4 Kryptonite: Well, this is a rematch and their previous meeting had them reach a tie and this match now has Playoff implications. Kryptonite has the bowlers out of Perry Hall, but the Stoners are scrappy and unpredictable. I believe Kryptonite takes the win 26 to 14.

Match 5: #5 Pin Krushers vs. #5 Body Bagz: A fun and exciting match.

Match 6: #6 Charm City Chaos vs. #6 Most Wanted: CCC should have the strong advantage here in house familiarity, but the Hall is pretty open, which can be an advantage or disadvantage to Most Wanted. If CCC beats MW’s scratch, then they will be hard to beat with their Handicap squads being able to keep things close. Both teams have a lot at stake, but I think MW is just a tad bit better. I have MW winning in a close one, 22 to 18.

Match 7: #7 Killer Keglers vs. #7 The Expendables: KK and the Expendables took tough losses in the last stop. They both need a win badly if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive. I am going to take The Expendables to win this one, 24 to 16.

Match 8: #8 Vipers vs. #8 Boardwalk Empire: This is a rematch and Vipers bested Boardwalk Empire in their last meeting. The question is which team will fill a roster for this one as both teams are pretty much out of the Playoffs at this point. I believe the Vipers will take this one, 22 to 18.

DMV South

AMF Capital Plaza on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at 12PM

Match 1 – Str8 Bizness Cartel vs. Lethal Njection: SBC is locked in for the final stretch of the season. Lethal Njection has had some solid performances. They have bowlers that can bowl at Cap Plaza, but this should be a pretty easy victory by SBC. I have SBC winning 28 to 12.

Match 2 – Framed 4 Murda vs. NoVa Beastmode: F4M had a solid win in their last stop and are just 29 points out of a Playoff spot. Beastmode caught an untimely L in their last stop. This should be a good match, but I believe F4M takes this one, 24 to 16.

Match 3 – Magna Carta vs. No Clowns Allowed: MC is really hitting their stride and looking like a solid #2 team in the DMV South. NCA had a bit of a slip up in their last stop and needs a really good showing here to get into a Playoff Position. This should be a great match, but I have MC winning 26 to 14.

Match 4 – Contract Killaz vs. DC Mafia: My MUST SEE MATCH of this Stop. CK suffered a tough loss in their last stop and DCM is finally looking like they are moving in the right direction as the season proceeds towards its end. CK has been surprisingly tough this year and Kent, Malik and Waltz should be really good at Cap Plaza, but DCM is just too tough and should win, 28 to 12.

Match 5 – Guilty By Association vs. Dynasty: GBA has struggled mightily this year and Dynasty has been extremely suspect at times this season. GBA should be very comfortable at Cap and will battle, but I think Dynasty should be able to do enough to win a close one, 22 to 18.

Match 6 – High Powered vs. Infamous: This is my LOCK MATCH of this stop. Infamous has shown great signs this season, but HP understands what is at stake. They will take their legion of Cap Plaza bowlers and should be able to capture a decisive win, 30 to 10.

Potential Upset(s) alert: NoVa Beastmode and GBA could steal a win at AMF Capital Plaza of F4M is not careful.

DMV UBA Ranking Scheduled Matches

1. 6 Hot Pockets vs. #9 Body Bagz – Saturday, April 15th at Perry Hall after the Tour Stop. Should be an interesting match up. Hot Pockets has had a ton of success against Body Bagz in their previous Ranking Match meetings. Let’s see how this one plays out.
2. #2 DC Mafia vs. #4 Str8 Bizness Cartel – Sunday, April 16th at AMF Capital Plaza at 2:30PM. Now this is a clash of titans at a house they both hit extremely well. I expect trash talk and a ton of strikes. This will be a close one and I take SBC with a slight edge, 22 to 18. This one can truly go either way.ac
