Battle Bowl Predictions – From Smash

Ray Gillespie talks Battle Bowl

So, before I get too deep into this, I am going to come across as 100% south biased – which I am perfectly ok with. I do not know hardly anything about the folks representing the north, but let’s give this a try.

Friday night is the HW match to determine the lucky individual that will get to face Josh Pittman on Sat night. Aaron Williams (Pocket Kingz) is coming off a win over Chris Aponte to face Sean Wade (Sub Zero). Swade has had the belt for a few months in the south and has already had a shot at Pittman but came up a tad short in probably the match of the year. What do I know about AW at Bowlerama? He threw the ball well but the lefties are stealing the show BUT he has reps in this center on this shot so that should help him a lot as I have not seen Swade bowl yet. If the south is in the building (hi Jazz), Swade is good enough of a shot maker that he will be able to adjust but he needs that energy he got when he defended again Jeremy Cauthen in a sweep last month. If the energy is there, Swade in 6 but if not, AW might be done with him in 4. Smash picks Swade in 6!

Saturday night is the night! At Mega Bowl, Kasey Parnell (High Caliber) defeated Mia Williams (AC Express). Now, both conferences have new champs. Hermie Hannibal (Silent Killerz), is going into the HOF is representing against the best Vixens Champ the UBA has had in the last 4 years in Daphne Smith (Savages). My bias will show here for sure as I expect Daphne to prove why she will also be a first ballot HOFer when she is eligible. Smash picks Daphne in 7!

I am not going to try and just say random things about the cruiserweight and welterweight matches. Both south champions average out after this so saying they should not get the wins would be foolish. Neither Jacob Shipley (Villains) or Jason Greer (Natural Disaster) have that true killer instinct or energy to cause max lineage. Smash picks both in 5!!

The capped tag match will be hard as hell to pick because we do not even know who from the south will be in the match. The south champs did not make the trip so a team from Disorderly Conduct is next up BUT they are in the Elite 8 so if they win on Friday, I don’t see them bowling in the match but that is all up in the air. However, regardless of who the south has in this match, I got to go with the Secret Society here because there will be no distraction for them. Smash hopes he is wrong but SS in 5!

The uncapped tag match is a Mega Bowl rematch!! Can the Savages beat Mass Destruction again? Absolutely! Will they? That is to be determined but knowing the Savages the way I do, the shot making, and chemistry of Nick and Ken will prevail. Smash picks Savages in 6!!

The World Title Match will be explosive!! Swade and Pittman had a classic down south in the last match going 7 games! If it is AW, can he handle the pressure and bring the world title back to the North? If AW and Pittman would have happened after the 2nd Unholy squad on Thursday, I think AW would have won because Pittman was on the struggle bus. So who will Josh face Saturday night? Smash likes Pittman in 7!!

Smash also likes Hitmen to leave Battle Bowl with the Wilder Cup!!!
