Wait A Sec…What are you doing there?

Here comes the usual teams.

Some of the teams that are front-runners are in the middle and some of the teams that should be in the middle are on top. Does that pattern continue after this tour stop? (I’ll give you a hint. NO).

BOARDWALK EMPIRE: 38, MAGNA CARTA: 2
BE, which is one of the teams used to first place, grabs possession of it as they get 7’s from Antwain Smith (739) and Jerel Upshaw (733). Magna Carta gets 7’s from nobody as they take their first loss of the season and plummet to 6th. BE shouldn’t be too comfortable with first because they haven’t had their bye week yet and the two teams that are chasing them have.

STR8 BIZNESS CARTEL: 36, BODY BAGZ: 4
If you come to a gun fight, you need to bring guns. If your highest score against SBC is a 628, then you didn’t bring enough guns. SBC had plenty of firepower from Christopher Lee (744) and Briana Evans (727) as they remain undefeated in District Play and move into a tie for second place. The now-11th BB are 14-66 for their past 2 matches.

DC MAFIA: 38, NOVA BEAST MODE: 2
Andrew Taylor’s 722 leads the Mafia to a 413 pin shellacking on NBM, who are 6-54 during their last 2 matches. Like SBC, DCM are also 3-0 in Match Play, and fittingly, are tied with them in the standings. Something eventually has to give, but when?

MOST WANTED: 31, HIGH POWERED: 9
Once upon a time, High Powered was in first place in this District. Then the evil wizard jinxed them to go 25-55 over the past 2 matches and gave Derek McNeil magical powers to shoot a 267 / 266 / 735. Most Wanted moves to fourth and jumps over the now 5th placed High Powered, who if they don’t get their act together, will live unhappily ever after.

INFAMOUS: 30, FRAMED FOR MURDA: 10
FFM should be kicking themselves as they blow a chance to take second place. Richard Greene shoots a 705 as Infamous, who had a rocky beginning, now gets to the midpack thanks to a 54-26 record over the past 2 matches. FFM goes from almost 2nd to 7th. Feel the burn.

DYNASTY: 28, CONTRACT KILLAZ: 12
Dynasty may be waking up as they take their first win of the season. Michale Dudley (741) and Kevin Lomax (733) shoot 7’s while Kevin Palmer Jr. adds a 290 for Dynasty as they more than double their point total for the season with that one win. CK didn’t have anyone that shot a 7, which is unfortunate as they remain in the middle of the pack because they lost the wood by 54.
