SMASH WINS!

Sure, Hitmen moves into first, but SMASH WINS!

Here’s the Capital District Results from Tour Stop #5.

Hitmen: 36, Violators: 4
Bobby Benton picked a good day to have a good day with his 708 series. The Violators (if your name is not Chris Finley with a 290 / 682), chose a bad day to have a bad day, as they shoot a combined 459 pins under average. As you can expect, that turns into a 486 pin beatdown by the Hitmen, who remain undefeated in Tour Stop play and stay as the leaders in the clubhouse. Violators are now in second and have to worry about…

The Risen: 23, Slayers: 17
Terrance White (740) and Joseph Barton (707) survive a tough challenge from the Slayers, who withstand Dan McCaskills’ 702 series. The Slayers fall to 4th and are 46-74 for the past 3 tour stops because they lost the overall wood by 45. The Risen move up to third on a three stop, 87-33 win streak of their own.

Capital City Hitters: 30, Outkasts: 10
Michael Harris (739) and James Campbell (712) key the CCH as they win the wood on the handicap side by 342. Kory Currin hits a 716 for Outkasts as they win the scratch by 120, but they remain in 5th and are 14-66 for the past 2 tour stops. CCH breaks a 3 tour stop losing skid.

Insurgents: 34, Cash Collectors: 6
The Insurgents (66-14 for the past 2 tour stops) blow out the Cash Collectors (22-98 for their past 3 tour stops) via 305 pins. Ken Hotaling (729), Tyler Howard (720) and Butch Zdelar (701) move the Insurgents to 6th, and within 15 points of a playoff spot.

SMASH! 30, Disturbin’ Tha Peace: 10
Ok, so no one shot a 7, but Smash got a win by 64 pins, so that’s all that matters. You never want to go through the Tour Stop season without a win, and Smash! can say something that a bunch of teams can’t say just quite yet, so congratulatins to them.
