World Championship Series NE Predictions

Prediction time! I’ve been doing very well. There should be some great and intriguing matchups this weekend. Can I do just as well here?

You see all of these great and intriguing matches I was talking about? This is not one of them.

PREDICTION: Acobo wins 4-1 and retains the title.

Smalls has been on the list for a very long time and this is where she may get her due. Hannibal is an aggressive champion, but I can see the upset brewing here. The longer this match goes, the more it will favor the challenger. I’m going to call the upset here.
PREDICTION: Smalls upsets Hannibal 4-3 and wins the title.

Andes has had a couple of close calls in retaining the title. This match, however, is in Dickey territory. The longer this one goes, the more it favors Dickey. My thoughts here is that Dickeyville is taking home a belt with them.

PREDICTION: Dickey wins 4-2 and takes the title to Dickeyville.

This is another match where Wahnon may be the favorite on paper but the match is in South Jersey, which Wiltsey should have an advantage, I say ‘should’ because if he has the same issue dad has (lack of mental game), then the match is one implosion away from Wahnon squeezing this out, which I think will happen. (Love you Jeff, but when you’re up 2-0 on a team I’m on and we take the next 4…well…yeah. )
PREDICTION: Wahnon wins 4-3 and retains the title.

This is going to be a fun match – and maybe the one to watch in this set. If there’s anyone on the list capable of taking the belts from Dysfunctional Bowlers, it’s Pocket Kings. Coin flip here….heads. Champs retain.
PREDICTION: Dysfunctional Bowlers win 4-3 and retain the belts.

This one could be good, because it’s DMV Vs. DMV. Waltz / Samuel is trying to make sure that this is not a fluke upset from last month. However, they are up against the former Tag Team Champions. Experience may get the better of the titlists here.
PREDICTION: Body Bagz wins 4-2 and regains the tag titles.

We’ll see on Monday how right – or wrong – I am.
