DMV Predictions Tour Stop #2

The Bad Twin gives us his thoughts on Tour Stop #2

Good Afternoon All,
You know what I am here for since it is October 2021. Let’s get right to the DMV Tour Stop #2 Predictions.
DMV North
At Forest Hill Lanes on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 10AM. Hot Pockets Bye.
Ok, a new location has been set since R.I.P. to AMF Country Club (moment of silence). Matches will either be closer or more of a blow out as Forest Hill Lanes doesn’t yield the same scoring pace as Country Club does.
1) Mutiny vs. Impact: I believe Mutiny has a very good scratch squad, but the handicap pairs need a little more polishing based on what I saw at their first tour stop. Have they made the necessary adjustments to take on one of the Titans of the DMV North? Unfortunately, I would think not. Impact has a phenomenal scratch pair and extremely capable handicap bowlers. I believe Mutiny will battle on scratch, but struggle on either one or both of the handicap pairs. This will be the determining factor in this match. I predict that Impact will take this match 26 to 14.
2) Kryptonite vs. Outrage: At AMF Country Club, I had predicted an Outrage victory, 26 to 14, but the change of location gives me a sense that the match will be a little closer. Outrage’s scratch pair got beat up on at AMF Southdale at their first stop, but the handicap pairs handled their business and got them a 28 to 12 victory against a very good N.W.O. Wolfpack. I cannot see Outrage’s scratch pair struggling two stops in a row. Along with the fact that they are facing Bateman’s Kryptonite squad, I believe they will be bringing a ton of focus into this match. Kryptonite has wanted this match. They are going to be suited and booted with their best and as loud as can be for this MUST SEE match of the DMV North stop. I believe the scratch pairs will be close with Outrage taking a slight edge. The match will come down to the handicap pairs. I believe that Outrage ultimately has the better bowlers, and their experience will give them the edge in this nail-biter. I predict Outrage wins 24 to 16.
3) Charm City Chaos vs. Pin Krushers: Both squads have not shown this prognosticator much, but PK showed little to nothing in their first stop against The Expendables, literally. I believe the CCC will have a better showing although PK should have the better bowlers. I predict CCC will take this match, 22 to 18.
4) Da Stoners vs. Apex Predators: Da Stoners have shown a lot of fight and grit. They are improving, but they still do not have enough help to surround the Champ, Jason Stanton. Meanwhile, Apex has a very nice blend of scratch and handicap. Apex should win this one pretty easily, 28 to 12. I am confident to call this my LOCK MATCH.
5) Killer Keglers vs. Vipers: Both of these squads heavily rely on handicap. Vipers showed a lot of promise in their team ranking qualifier. Of course, this was not a match against another squad, but I think that this should provide them with confidence for their first match after a Tour Stop #1 bye. Killer Keglers struggled mightily in Tour Stop #1 despite a very compelling start. They have shown that the lower averages they tout is not necessarily a benefit on handicap if you do not cover your spares. I think both of these squads will battle it out, but ultimately Vipers win 22 to 18.
6) N.W.O. Wolfpack vs. The Expendables: Previously I predicted a 28 to 12 N.W.O. win at Country Club. Now at Forest Hill Lanes, the shot may be a little tougher for both squads, thereby narrowing N.W.O.’s edge over The Expendables. The Expendables had a very strong Tour Stop #1 performance clobbering Pin Krushers 38 to 2. However, N.W.O. is no Pin Krushers. They are poised to rebound after their Tour Stop #1 loss to Outrage, which they believe they gave away. I believe N.W.O. will give an inspired performance despite The Expendables’ efforts. I predict N.W.O. takes this one, 26 to 14.
DMV South
At Bowl America Shirley on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 12PM. DC Mafia bye.
1) High Powered vs. Dynasty: This is HP’s home, and they cannot afford to lose here. The irony is that Dynasty also calls this place home. Both teams will come out sporting their best, but HP is just too good there. HP pulled off a good win Tour Stop #1 but did not look their best. They will not have that issue this stop. Dynasty had an awful performance Tour Stop #1 where they were handled by Framed 4 Murda. They will certainly try to rebound from there. Question: Will HP let DK come out and bowl against his former squad? Potential bad blood there. Dynasty will be louder and fight harder, but I do not believe they have the fire power to topple HP at BA Shirley. HP takes this one, 28 to 12.
2) Guilty By Association vs. Magna Carta: Guilty By Association showed a lot of heart in their match against High Powered at Tour Stop #1. Their lack of punch on the handicap pairs eventually came back to haunt them. This may be a reoccurring theme for them this week. Magna Carta got a very nice win against Infamous at Tour Stop #1 and now they get to bowl in a place where the majority of their bowlers enjoy throwing the rock at. If Guilty By Association does not come out hitting early, this will be a long day. We know Queen Kay and AJ will be throwing plenty of strikes. I believe Magna Carta takes this one 28 to 12.
3) Body Bagz vs. Most Wanted: This will be a very good match.
4) Contract Killaz vs. Boardwalk Empire: So, CK got beat up by DC Mafia twice in so many days, most notably they loss the Ranking Match here in a big way. CK has a ton of bowlers that frequent the House on the Hill. They should be really comfortable here. That bodes well in their favor. Boardwalk Empire had a very good win against Body Bagz Tour Stop #1. Their handicap 2 and scratch pairs showed up when they needed them. BE appears to have loss some of the firepower they used to have on the handicap pairs. Maybe they will turn this around at this stop, but despite my personal feelings, I believe CK has the better team at this particular house to take the victory by a small margin, 22 to 18. Dare I call this the MUST SEE match for the DMV South stop.
5) Framed 4 Murda vs. Str8 Bizness Cartel: Framed 4 Murda came out Tour Stop #1 and broke their foot off in Dynasty. They now stand a top of the DMV South with 36 points. That is the good news. The bad news is that the best team in the DMV South is now coming off of a Tour Stop #1 bye believing they are fighting from behind and in need of a victory. To make matters worse, SBC has a ton of bowlers that shoot numbers at this particular house. SBC is the better team at a favorable house, which spells doom for Framed 4 Murda. SBC takes this one in the LOCK MATCH, 36 to 4.
6) Infamous vs. NoVa Beastmode: Infamous fought hard at Tour Stop #1, but they just did not have the firepower on the handicap pairs to put them over the hump. Unfortunately, they are meeting up with a NoVa Beastmode that believes they were embarrassed in their last outing. The youngsters love VA houses and guess what Shirley happens to be. I predict that Beastmode takes this one 28 to 12.
