And 2 Smurfs Shall Lead Them

A pair of 760 series lead Smurf Nation to the win.

Tour Stop #2 Results from the PA North District ahead…

SMURF NATION: 26, CHOSEN ONES: 14
Matthew Pemper (769) and Stephen McGuckin (768) go 760+ while Joseph Heim adds a 700 for the Smurfs, who win the wood by 149. Robert Folkes’ 706 leads to a 10 points sweep on the Chosen Ones, but they needed more 700 series and didn’t get them.

ALL-IN: 32, VOODOO: 8
Voodoo didn’t exactly enjoy the family reunion – despite Jack Thorn Jr.s 695 series, they didn’t have anyone higher than a 652. Frank Kmet’s 729 led everyone for All-In, and with their supporting cast shooting 640+ (7 of the 8 other All-Iners did that), they take the Wood by almost 200 pins.

PHILLY HORSEMEN: 34, BROAD STREET BULLIES: 6
The Horsemen get a 736 from WIlliam Dahling as each trio won 8-2. That signifies a complete effort for the Horsemen. Meanwhile, the Bullies also had a complete effort: a combined 507 pins under average from everyone allows them to drop the wood by 393 pins. That’s not the complete effort that you want.

SOUTHAMPTON SAMURAI: 32, DEVASTATION INC.: 8
Devastation won the scratch trio by 51 pins. They needed some of that on the handicap side, as they got swarmed by a combined 294 pins. The power came from Nicholas Kyndus (730) and Robert Morrisey (721) as the Samurai get their first win of the season.
