Sneak Preview: Season Brawl #10

Assuming that you have all seen the other commentary for Season Brawl #4, you can tell that that bracket is LOADED. This bracket…notsomuch. This is the little baby brother bracket where everyone else came over here so they don’t get their lunch money stolen by the bigger boys. That being said, a winning spot here is just as good as the winning spot anywhere else. So let’s break this down. Reminder:

FAVORITES: One of the teams I think will win the whole thing
LEGITIMATE THREAT: Not one of the front-runners, but if they win it wouldn’t be a surprise
CONTENDERS: They could stick around for a while, but certain unexpected things need to swing their way for them to win
DARK HORSE: They COULD win, but A LOT of things need to swing their way – like everyone running to the parking lot to see a Southside Johnny concert.

So let’s check out the little brothers…

FAVORITES
Dysfunctional Bowlers – They were a few frames away from winning Season Brawl #1. You have to consider them favorites here.

Reaper Crew – They held their own in the NWNJ. Pending on who is part of this squad, they could do a lot of damage.

LEGITIMATE THREAT
#InVain – They were 12 pins away from hanging out with Dysfunctional Bowlers in the first Season Brawl bracket. Can they be 12 pins better here?

Goon Squad – They had a very good season last year. How much will the split affect them?

CONTENDERS
Legion of Doom – Last year they finished in the Top Half, which is great for a new team. Can they parlay that into a win?

Fishgrease Militia – They didn’t catch a lot of fish last season. Can they turn around now and catch some whoppers? Or are they only going to find some rubber boots?

DARK HORSE
Do it Yourself – If you’re a new team, you’re here. But this is a great opportunity to do yourself a lot of good in a brackets that’s wide open for the taking.

Train Wreck – Hopefully their debut won’t be a train wreck…but…they have a chance to come out like a full-powered locomotive. Choo choo!
