Hawaii, South Dakota, Virgin Islands added to quarantine list

According to the latest tweet from Governor Andrew Cuomo:

Hawaii, South Dakota & the Virgin Islands have been added to NY’s coronavirus travel advisory.

Alaska, New Mexico, Ohio and Rhode Island have been removed.

Travelers arriving from 33 states & territories MUST self-quarantine for 14 days.

As of Tuesday, individuals traveling from Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, the Virgin Islands and Wisconsin to the tristate area must quarantine for 14 days.

So if you want to go back to Ohio for a tournament, no problem. The bigger issue may be that red swath from Maryland down. With upcoming tournaments in those red state areas that draw northerners, there will be a legitimate question of whether ot not to bowl in tournaments there, knowing that you will have to quarantine when you come back – or risking not quarantining and hoping you didn’t bring anything else back with you besides prize money.
