Prell, Warcup capture titles at Unholy

Prell wins the title in 7 from David Nagelhout

The Unholy Alliance featured some fantastic championship matches, highlighted by Alex Prell (DHS) defeating Dave Nagelhout (Dysfunctional Bowlers) 4-3 to capture the Northeast Heavyweight title. For Prell, this is his second championship run – and this one he’s counting on to make this last a little longer than his first reign.

The other belt that switched hands in the north was the Cruiserweight, as Brian Warcup (Powerhouse) defeated William ‘Little Buda Brown (Royal Flush) 4-1. With commentary provided by Bowl TV’s Shannon Sellens, the match featured Warcup with a solid mark game Vs. the erratic corner pin spare shooting by Brown, which turned out to be his demise as he missed 16 one-pin spares (ouch). By the end of the match, Sellens took Brown’s spare ball and threatened to throw it in the dumpster (you can check that out in the highlights).

In other WCS matches, Sagirah Wheeler (APEX Predators) looked impressive in defending her title with a 4-1 victory over Diana Walters, Chris Schenck won 4-2 over Joey Calixto to keep his title, and Dysfunctional Bowlers maintained control over both tag team titles with 4-1 wins as well.
